Berkdrums In my perception one of the very underrated ambient-artists! As we all can read ‘SubAntarctica’ contains tracks that are unique and created for this exhibition. What we can experience here is a stunning four tracks that show us the immense talent of Rudy. These works here are breathtakingly beautiful, immersive and you can feel the connection with the title immediately.. I love it how Rudy likes to use watersounds which I sort of see as his trademark. Also the beautiful dronesounds, and deep soundwaves on which he lets these soft (and typical Rudy Adrian) ‘twinkly’ nostalgic themes just float, like a babbling brook... I really hope more of Rudy’s work will appear on the wonderful Bandcamp (besides the must-have albums on Spotted Peccary hete of course).. And I hope more and more people will soon realize the talent of mr. Adrian!!

about

This music was created as the official soundtrack of the "Art In the Sub-Antarctic" exhibition which toured New Zealand 1990-1992. These four tracks have not been re-released elsewhere on my more recent albums. The music was created using Mark Of The Unicorn's Performer 2.31+ software, running on a 1-megabyte Apple MacIntosh. Synthesizers used were the Yamaha SY77 and occasionally the Roland D70.
